Andy Warhol, an American visual artist of the second half of the 20th century, is today best known perhaps as a leader in the Pop Art movement, exploring the connections between mass culture and mass production.

In 2018-2019 The Whitney Museum of American Art presents a rare retrospective of Warhol’s work, Andy Warhol – From A to B and Back Again. The exhibition will include screenings of his work on film. Simultaneously, DIA will exhibit Warhol’s monumental work Shadows.
