
Ilana Krugolets is an Associate Producer at ABC News where she produces and edits promotional on air content for ABC’s shows such as Good Morning America, The View, 2020, Nightline, World News Tonight as well as The Oscars, AMA’s and CMA’s. Recently, she led the production of the election coverage promotions for ABCand she is currently working on various new campaigns for the network. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production from Hunter College and graduated with honors as the Salutatorian of the 2017 class. Immediately following her graduation, she was hired as a Production Associate at ABC. During her time at Hunter, she was in the Muse Scholar program where she connected with mentors and driven students who shared a passion for the arts. Ilana was also the President of Hunter College’s Photographers Collective where she created, designed and published a biannual photo magazine called “The Issue”. Throughout her college career, she freelanced as Hunter’s official event photographer and produced promotional videos for several Hunter departments. Ilana is also the executive producer and editor of two documentaries, Little Odessa and her thesis, Swipe Right for More, a documentary following the highs and lows of app dating. Before landing a job at ABC News, she interned at Live with Kelly and Ryan, as the television production intern where she helped to produce on air celebrity appearances. She also interned and freelanced at NYC’s Mayor’s Office of Media Entertainment as a producer and editor. When not at the office, Ilana enjoys traveling and photographing landscapes and exploring all things media and social media. For her work over this past year at ABC News, she was recognized with her second Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Television.
